but seriously, funny story...
I go to a small community college right now just to get my pre reqs out of the way so I am not really taking any classes that I am interested in. So in my free time, I study my spanish dictionary. There is a cute little bayou running through campus and so on pretty days, which happen a lot here, i love to sit on the levee and study. So, the other day, a few people were walking past me and this girl was like, GUH, WHY IS YA READIN THA DICTIONARY?? YOU SOME KINDA GENIUS? hahhah and so i explained that im going out of the country and she was like OH, YOU CRAZY...
it was funny. so i wanted to tell you.
y'all have any funny stories?
This story is only a little bit funny, but I was running with my roommate this morning, (it is a beautiful and slightly muggy day here in northern Ohio!) and we were running on a pretty torn up sidewalk. I was being careful, and I have run on it before, but I definitely tripped and took a nasty spill. My left knee is HUGE and bruised and scratched up, and my elbow has a puncture wound on it. I am pretty sore, but it's kind of funny- I am really a clumsy person, and sometimes I guess I forget that...until I scratch myself up.
ReplyDeleteIt is kind of a time-warpish feeling when you are a college student, to be taken care of with your knee and arm all scratched up. It always makes me feel like a little kid.
So anyways. Please pray that my body would not be too sore, and that I can focus on my finals for next week!
awww that is so sad!!! I totally understand though because I am SO clumsy too! i used to play softball and trip over bases and stuff. I randomly trip over my feet in parking lots and restaurants. I even fell in front of everyone at prom... i don't even get embarassed anymore hahaha
